SUSUMEALS began with a simple hope: to bring a chef’s touch to the warmth of a homemade meal.Like so many working parents, I faced the same question every day: how could I put a wholesome, satisfying meal on the table without spending hours cooking or going out? I wanted meals that felt like home, with the quality and attention to detail of a chef's kitchen. That everyday challenge inspired me to create SUSUMEALS.My culinary journey began with studying Food & Nutrition in Korea and continued at the Culinary Institute of America (CIA). Over the years, I've immersed myself in diverse culinary worlds—from temple cuisine and traditional Korean royal cuisine to corporate cafeterias, hotel dining, afternoon tea, catering, and cooking studios. Those experiences shaped how I cook today—elevated, seasonal, and nourishing meals made with quality ingredients. I enjoy blending Eastern and Western flavors with a refined yet approachable touch, creating meals that feel both elegant and comforting.Every SUSUMEALS dish is made with carefully selected ingredients. I use less sugar and sodium, and I never freeze. My hope is that every week I can take one small worry off your plate, giving you more time to savor thoughtfully prepared meals and meaningful moments with the people you love.
